The Simi Valley Symphony Orchestra

We are thrilled to introduce the Simi Valley Symphony Orchestra, a premier ensemble of talented musicians dedicated to delivering outstanding musical performances. Available for concerts, scoring and recording. Recently showcased at the SIMI Film Fest, this elite orchestra is passionate about supporting the independent film and music industry, offering professional recording services for film scores—including short films—and recording live orchestral experiences for a wide range of variety of productions and collaborations.

Simi Valley Youth Orchestra

The Simi Valley Youth Orchestra is all about inspiring young musicians, accelerate their learning and giving them experiences to shine. Auditions for early 2025 are just around the corner, offering a fantastic opportunity for budding talent to grow, connect with peers, and explore the exciting world of orchestral music. Welcome to the Simi Valley Orchestras and Choir

We’re proud to offer a range of ensembles that serve both our local community and the entertainment industry. Our Simi Valley Symphony Orchestra is at the heart of what we do, delivering professional-quality performances for audiences, film, television, and multimedia projects. Alongside this, our Community Orchestra provides a welcoming space for musicians of all backgrounds, and our Youth Orchestra helps young players develop their skills and passion for music.

With the addition of our Community Choir, we now bring even more voices to the stage. Whether you're a filmmaker looking for an exceptional musical partner or a musician seeking a place to play and grow, we invite you to join us and be part of something truly special.

Past Events

Mother's Day at Strathern Park

We celebrate a lot of things in Simi Valley, and there's great reason to add mothers to the top of our list. On May 11th, 2025 at 4:30-6pm, we will be doing a special performance honoring the beautiful women who raise each generation with a late afternoon concert in the stunning settings of Simi's premier historic park.
Bring your own chairs, picnic blankets or upgrade to a limited-availability special table where you can enjoy the music while you celebrate moms everywhere.
Details on tickets will be available directly through Strathern Park.

Christmas Time Is Here

November 2024 saw the first event where we added the community choir to the orchestra to play a series of events leading through Christmas. The first was on November 16th at Simi Town Center Mall for the official Christmas Tree Lighting event.
Since then we've performed for 2 seasons at the Simi Community Christmas, the Metrolink Christmas event and a special vocal performance took place at the Elk's Lodge whose members who do so much to support our Community.
In 2025 The Simi Valley Symphony Orchestra gave their debut performance outside the City of Simi as they performed The Spirit Of Christmas Concert in Camarillo, CA

SIMI Film Fest

In September 2025, we proudly introduced the Simi Valley Symphony Orchestra at the SIMI Film Fest, performing before an audience of film music fans and filmmakers. Featuring a program that ranged from film music classics to original scores from films screening at the festival, the orchestra delivered a debut performance that resonated deeply with the audience and set a strong foundation for what lies ahead.

Veteran's Day - Lemon Park

Come along to honor the heroes who have given so much in service of our Country. We will be playing music to celebrate the veterans of US Wars with music before, during and after the ceremony. Music commences at 10:45am.

July 4th Fireworks

The Simi Valley Community Orchestra played in front of the crowds gathered for the celebration of our nation's Independence, playing both patriotic and folk music.

Memorial Day

In May 2024, the Simi Valley Community Orchestra played to honor our nation's fallen for the flag placement at the Los Angeles National Cemetery on May 25th and at the Pioneer Cemetery in Simi Valley on Monday May 27th

Little House On The Prairie

At the 50th Anniversary of the TV show Little House On The Prairie in March 2024, 89 musicians participated in two 30 minute shows to celebrate the Little House's heritage.

Our first venture as a community orchestra was to appear out of nowhere with 60 musicians to perform at the Simi Valley Street Fair in October 2023
